Unlock Exam Success

Meet Jennifer

I help high-stakes exam takers understand what is getting in the way — and what will help them perform at their best.

My story

One exam became a sticking point.

Preparing for a professional licensing exam is different from ordinary studying.

You may already know how to work hard. You may already have years of education behind you. You may even have a strong academic history.

And yet one particular exam can still become a sticking point.

That was my experience too.

I had been successful in school for most of my life. Then I failed the bar exam twice.

The bar exam is a two-day, 16-hour licensing exam. If you do not pass it, you cannot practice law, regardless of how many years of education you have already completed.

That experience forced me to look beyond simply studying more.

I began pulling together three areas that had always interested me.

01

Human behavior

02

The science of learning

03

Success coaching

Once I started looking at exam preparation through all three lenses, things began to make much more sense.

The whole performance picture

Passing is about more than knowing the material.

I used that broader understanding to change the way I prepared.

I passed the bar exam on my third attempt.

That experience eventually became the foundation for the work I do today.

  • How you respond to pressure
  • How you approach studying
  • How you recover from setbacks
  • How your confidence affects performance
  • How motivation changes over time
  • How you make decisions under stress
  • How well your methods fit the way you learn
  • How thoughts, emotions, and habits affect follow-through

Why this work exists

Traditional exam preparation leaves a gap.

Most exam programs are built around content. They teach you what you need to know, what questions to practice, how much material to cover, and when to study it.

That matters. But many exam takers are dealing with something more specific.

They may know the material but struggle to perform consistently. They may understand what they are supposed to do but have trouble following through. They may feel confident one day and completely unsure the next.

They may be dealing with anxiety, perfectionism, overthinking, discouragement, procrastination, motivation problems, or difficulty trusting what they know.

They are looking for targeted help with the way they are studying, thinking, preparing, and performing. That is where my work comes in.

My approach

Practical support at the intersection of three disciplines.

01

Human behavior

I pay attention to the patterns behind what you are doing — how you respond when a practice score drops, what happens when you fall behind, what causes avoidance, and what helps you regain momentum and trust yourself.

Understanding behavior helps us work with the person taking the exam, rather than simply adding more tasks to a study plan.

02

The science of learning

Studying more is not always the same as learning better. I look at how you process information, practice retrieval, review material, use feedback, and organize your study time.

The goal is to use your effort in a way that actually supports learning and retention.

03

Success coaching

High-stakes exams require sustained performance. That means developing the confidence, consistency, decision-making, self-trust, and mental habits that support the result you are working toward.

My role is to help you identify what is happening, understand the pattern, and make useful changes.

Focused support

This is targeted exam-performance support.

My work is focused on the exam experience.

We may talk about confidence, emotions, motivation, mindset, study behavior, decision-making, or performance under pressure because all of those things can affect how someone prepares and performs.

The purpose is practical: to help you study more effectively, perform more consistently, and move toward your licensing goal with greater clarity and confidence.

Why Unlock Exam Success

The underlying challenges are not unique to the bar exam.

I originally began this work with bar exam takers because that was the exam experience I knew personally.

CPA candidates, engineering exam takers, and people preparing for other professional licensing exams often face many of the same patterns: high stakes, large amounts of material, long preparation periods, pressure, self-doubt, inconsistent performance, and the weight of knowing how much the credential matters.

That is why I created Unlock Exam Success.

It gives high-stakes exam takers access to support that considers the whole performance picture — how you learn, how you think, how you behave, and how you respond under pressure.

If you have already booked a Momentum Call

You do not need to prepare a perfect explanation of what is going on.

That is part of what we will figure out together.

Your Study Personality results and the information you share before the call help me understand how you approach preparation and where we may want to look first.

Then we use the Momentum Call to identify what may be affecting your progress and what your next useful step could be.

I look forward to meeting you.
