Free 20-Minute Momentum Call
You know you need to study. So why does everything else keep getting your attention first?
For Professionals Preparing for High-Stakes Licensing and Credentialing Exams · No Prep Required · No Obligation
You keep telling yourself you’re going to get serious.
You’re going to follow the schedule. Get through the material. Stop losing days. Stop starting over.
And somehow, studying keeps getting pushed aside.
Maybe you’re exhausted after work. Maybe something else always feels more urgent. Maybe you sit down to study and can’t stay with it.
Or maybe you are studying—but you still don’t feel confident that what you’re doing is going to get you across the finish line.
At some point, you start wondering:
Why can’t I just do what I know I need to do?
Because if simply knowing what to do were enough, you probably would have fixed this already.
You’ve handled hard things before.
You’ve learned difficult material. You’ve met deadlines. You’ve gotten through demanding programs, jobs, responsibilities, and seasons of life.
So when exam preparation keeps breaking down, it’s worth looking more closely at where it’s breaking down and what keeps happening when it does.
- Procrastination can show up even when passing matters deeply to you.
- You can know the material and still second-guess yourself when it counts.
- You can have a perfectly reasonable study schedule that you rarely manage to follow.
- You can keep changing strategies because you can’t tell whether the problem is your study plan, your confidence, your consistency, your workload—or several things feeding into each other.
And after enough time trying to solve it yourself, everything can start to feel tangled together.
That’s when another perspective can make a difference.
In 20 minutes, we’ll start making sense of what’s happening.
The Momentum Call gives you a chance to step outside of the cycle for a few minutes and look at your preparation with someone who knows what patterns to look for.
Tell me what’s happening.
Tell me what you’ve already tried.
Tell me where things keep falling apart.
We’ll look at the pattern together and begin separating the symptoms from the issues that actually need your attention.
By the end of the conversation, you will:
- Get a clearer picture of what has actually been getting in the way of your preparation.
- Find out whether you are dealing with a mindset issue, a strategy issue, or both.
- See connections between problems you may have been treating as separate.
- Leave knowing what your most logical next step is.
“I came into the call knowing I was struggling, but I didn't really know what to do about it. By the end, I could see a path forward and a structure that actually made sense for me.”
“Sometimes you need someone outside of the situation to help you see what you can't see on your own. Talking it through gave me a completely different perspective on what had been getting in my way.”
Does any of this sound familiar?
- You keep putting off studying even though the exam matters to you.
- You create schedules and plans, but following them consistently is another story.
- You sit down to study and quickly find yourself doing something else.
- You’ve fallen behind and aren’t sure how to catch up without overwhelming yourself.
- You keep questioning whether you’re studying enough—or studying the right things.
- You know more than your practice performance seems to show.
- You second-guess answers you originally felt good about.
- You’ve taken the exam before and can already see some of the same patterns showing up again.
- You’ve changed study programs, schedules, resources, or techniques, but you still don’t feel settled.
- Or you simply have the sense that something is getting in your way, and you haven’t been able to figure out what it is.
If you recognized yourself anywhere in that list, you are not stuck because you are not trying hard enough. There is a pattern worth looking at.
“The conversation helped me connect things I had been treating like separate problems. I left realizing there was something deeper going on—and I could see how to understand it and what to do next.”
Hi, I’m Jennifer Duclair, Esq.
I am an attorney, mindset mentor, and exam success coach.
I know this experience from the inside.
I failed the bar exam twice before passing.
I know what it feels like to study hard, want the result badly, and still have things happening internally that make preparation harder than it seems like it should be.
That experience eventually became part of the work I do now.
Today, I help exam candidates recognize the patterns affecting the way they study, prepare, make decisions, manage pressure, and perform.
Because the material you’re studying is only one part of exam preparation.
There is also the person trying to learn it.
- Your schedule.
- Your energy.
- Your confidence.
- Your habits.
- Your responsibilities.
- Your expectations.
- Your reactions when you fall behind.
- The way you respond when practice goes badly.
- The way you make decisions when the pressure rises.
Those things affect how well you can use everything your prep program is teaching you.
And sometimes, you need someone who knows what to look for to help you see the pattern.

What happens during the Momentum Call?
We’ll talk for 20 minutes about what has actually been happening in your exam preparation.
I’ll ask questions.
Some of them may help you notice connections you haven’t considered before.
We’ll look at the problems you’re experiencing, what you’ve already tried, and where your preparation keeps getting stuck.
From there, we’ll determine whether the issues you’re describing involve:
Mindset
Things like fear, avoidance, self-doubt, second-guessing, pressure, confidence, or other internal patterns affecting the way you prepare.
Strategy
Things like your study schedule, workload, priorities, consistency, structure, accountability, or the way you’re using your preparation materials.
Or both
Because one problem can feed another.
You fall behind. Then you start questioning yourself. The doubt makes studying harder. You avoid studying. Now you’re further behind. Eventually, it becomes difficult to tell what needs your attention first.
The Momentum Call gives us a place to begin untangling it.
You don’t have to figure all of this out before you book.
You don’t need to come to the call knowing what the problem is. That is part of what we’re there to explore.
You don’t need another study plan prepared for me to review or a long explanation rehearsed ahead of time.
Tell me what’s happening as clearly as you can. We’ll start there.
“I knew I kept putting off studying for my exam, but I couldn't explain why. After the call, I could finally see that there was something deeper going on.”
You can keep wondering what’s getting in the way.
You can try another schedule. Start over Monday. Push yourself harder. Change study resources again. Promise yourself that this time you’ll stay consistent.
Or you can spend 20 minutes looking at the pattern with someone who works with these issues every day.
Come tell me what’s been happening.
We’ll look at it together, determine whether you’re dealing with mindset, strategy, or both, and help you get clear about what to do next.
